Mudpacks and Mineral bath

This is a method of packing the body using a mixture of termite mud, paste of neem and turmeric. In this the whole body and the scalp will be well covered by the paste and the patient has to sit in moderate sun until it dries. After drying it the patient will be taking a mineral bath in water, rich in minerals from a natural spring. This was an ancient method of diagnosis for diseases of the bones and joints.

Mode of action:

The application of the paste gives some heat on the skin and there by increases the blood circulation on the skin. This will help for the absorption of the medicaments easily. The herbs mixed in the mud are having skin refreshing properties and so it will be good to improve the health of the skin.

Indications:

  • Skin diseases like eczema, scabies etc
  • To improve the skin texture and soften the skin
  • It can be used as a beauty treatment by using other herbs with the mud.
